The Giant

He was born as a son,
Born to be a brother.
He was a friend when you needed,
Even if it wasn’t wanted.
He was lucky to become a husband,
But made to be a father.
He was destined to be an uncle,
Even prouder to be a grandfather.
He strived to be a man,
He never intended to become a giant.
But in the eyes of all who loved him,
He was a giant among men.

-Rhi Williams
