Obituary for Floyd Henry Deal

Floyd Henry  Deal
Floyd Henry Deal, 65, of Franklin, died unexpectedly Friday, February 8, 2008 in a Sylva hospital.

A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Jake Palmer Deal and Aver Watts Deal. Floyd was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by two brothers, Frank Deal of Sylva, NC and Fred Deal and wife Shirley of Leesburg, NC; three sisters, Susie Wiggins and husband James of Otto, Mildred Thompson of Tiger, GA and JoAnn Deal of Franklin, NC; four nephews, Tony Deal of Graham, NC, Terry Deal of Kimesville, NC, Mark Deal of Kentucky and Jamie Wiggins of Otto; niece, Laura Clark of Otto; three great nieces; one great nephew; and special friends Ann Holland and Austin Holland of Franklin.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 11, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Alton Dendy will officiate. Burial will be in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, February 10, at Macon Funeral Home.
