Obituary for Farriel D. Grady

Farriel D. Grady, born on September 20, 1940, son of J. D. and Altia Grady of Plymouth, MI, age 66, has gone to sleep in death while he waits for the resurrection as God has promised to be reunited with his family and friends here on earth.

He was a kind and loving husband to his wife, Gail of forty-six years, and a wonderful father to his three children, Janisse Grady of Naples, FL, Sharriel Solary of Franklin, and Robert Grady of Estero, FL. He was "Pappa", the role model, to his beloved seven grandchildren, Melissa, Micah, and Max Dacko, Anthony and Nick Solary, and Hunter and Logan Grady. He is survived by his three brothers, Bobby and Larry Grady of Texas and Gary Grady of Michigan and their families, and his loyal pet yorkie, "Ellie Mae".

He moved to Franklin (from Naples, FL) where he retired from landscaping in 1990. He and Gail opened a local retail business in 1991 until 1999.

He was a member of the South Franklin Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Memorial Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall on Prentiss Bridge Road at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2006.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in C/O Gail Grady, 104 Cedar Hills Drive, Franklin, NC 28734.
