Esther Jane Reeves Guest Perry, 85, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2006.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late J.C. Reeves and Lora Jane Patterson Reeves. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James "Wiley" Guest, second husband, Joe Perry, son, Donald Wayne Guest and eight brothers and sisters. She was a member of Burningtown Baptist Church, past worthy matron of the Eastern Star in Atlanta, GA (Loyally Chapter 393), and member of the DAR. She made baby caps for Angel Medical Center for many years.

She is survived by a son, Wymer Guest of Franklin; sister, Genevieve Gibson of Gastonia, NC; brother, Earl Reeves of Chesapeake, VA; six grandchildren, Donna Ledford, Kimberly Ferrell, Teresa Francisco, Jerry Guest, Robin Hovis and LaDonna Burford; fourteen great grandchildren, Amanda, Brandon, Sam, Dustin, Ryan, Trey, Benjamin, Isabella, Johnathan, Jessica, Lee, Kimberly, Khristopher and Kaci; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Dryman and Rev. Jim Kinard will officiate. Burial will be in the Burningtown Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, at Macon Funeral Home.
