Obituary for Emerson Lee Parker

Emerson Lee Parker, 79, of Highlands, NC, entered into rest on Sunday, March 20, 2005.

A native of Port Kent, NY, he was the son of the late Carl Tracy Parker and Birdie Morrow Bullis Parker. He was self-employed as an attorney and realestate developer;a US Navy WWII Veteran; member of the St. Petersburg and Federal Bar Associations member of; St. Petersburg and Treasure Island Yacht Clubs; member of Bath Club of Redington Beach, FL; member of Trial Lawyers of Pinellas County; youngest Prosecutor and first Republican Prosecutor for Pinellas County.

Suriving are his wife of twenty-five years, Leigh Bailey Parker; four children, Robin A. Parker of Franklin and St. Petersburg, FL; John E. Parker of St. Petersburg, FL, Kathryn L. Crain of Melbourne Beach, FL and Emerson L. Parker II of St. Petersburg, FL;six grandchildren; and five nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, in St. Petersburg, Florida

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Angel Home Health and Hospice, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
