Obituary for Edith Louise Knight (Webb)

Edith Louise Webb Knight, 58, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2007.

A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Monroe Webb and Carrie Echohawk Webb. Edith attended the Tyler Texas Technical School for Licensed Practical Nurses. She belonged to the Pawnee Indian Nation.

She is survived by two sons, Randy Campbell and wife, Anna of Franklin and Daniel Campbell and wife, Trisha of Alabama; three brothers, Douglas Monroe Webb of Franklin, Vernon Lee Hall of Asheville, NC, Robert Dean Webb of Clayton, GA; four sisters, Lucy Webb and Gladys Darlene Webb, both of Georgia, Hattie Osborne of Wilmington, NC, and Cindy Webb; five grandchildren, Alisa Campbell, Cody Campbell, Karrie Campbell, Danielle Campbell, Suzanne Campbell and Kristin McCall; her companion, Wayah B. Knight, Jr.; Wayah's mother, Erna Letitia Colfer of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at The Franklin House of Prayer. Rev. Randy Campbell and Rev. Jim Byrd will officiate. Burial will be in the Scaly Mountain Methodist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, at the church.
