Obituary for Donald Hodgin

Donald D. Hodgin, 63, entered into rest Monday, January 31, 2005.

A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late William Hodgin and Hazel Watts Conley. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Hodgin who died in 1989. Donald was a construction worker and a member of Gillespie Chapel Methodist Church.

He is survived by two children, Donna Stephens of Cullowhee and Eddie Hodgin of Sylva; two brothers, Roger Hodgin of Franklin, and Dennis Hodgin of Turtle Town, TN; three sisters, Doris Ledbetter of Franklin, Judy Johnson of Sylva, and Mary Henry of Franklin; step brother, Larry Conley of Franklin; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 3, at Gillespie Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, at Macon Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gillespie Chapel, C/O Edith Byrd, 1765 North Jones Creek Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
