Obituary for Dolores Miller (Bradley)
Dolores Bradley Miller, 80, of Franklin, NC, formerly of West Palm Beach, FL, entered into rest on Friday, March 25, 2005 after a long illness.
A native of Adell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Jerry Thomas Bradley and Julia Linder Corbitt Bradley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Dillon, grandson, Michael Dillon and son-in-law, Ken Uchida. She was a member of Iotla Baptist Church, member of the Joy Club and member of the Berean Sunday School Class. Dolores was also a member of the Franklin Christian Women's Club.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Wendell E. Miller; two children; Derek Miller of West Palm Beach, FL and Wendy Sokoloskis of Franklin; one sister, Betty Jean Gilmore of Franklin and West Palm Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Jeffery Dillon, Danny Miller, Sandy Christopher, Christy Uchida and Scotti Uchida; seven great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Iotla Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 28, at Macon
Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Richard Gilmore, Danny Miller, Scotti Uchida, Jeffery Dillon, Scott Clark, and Benny Sokoloskis.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Berean Sunday School Class of Iotla Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Iotla Baptist Church Building Fund, 1537 Iotla Church Road, Franklin, NC 28734, Angel Home Health and Hospice, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734 or a charity of one's choice.
