Mrs. Diane Sloan, 73, of Miami, Florida, passed away on Thursday April 26, 2007.

Diane was born in Raleigh, NC on March 3, 1934, daughter of the late John W. and Rue Clark. She was joined in love and marriage to the late Richard K. Sloan Sr. on September of 1955. She was survived by their three children; Rick Sloan, Shawn Sloan Peterson and Jonathan Sloan, along with five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Diane was an ordained minister of Universal Christ Church as well as an active member of New Life Community Church in Miami, Fl. She was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, Bible study classes and various prayer groups. She was truly dedicated to the Lord as well as her children and friends well being and happiness and would give unselfishly to all who needed her.

She taught us to have grace and passion. Our Father has taken her to meet her Life's Love', Richard, to prepare a place for us to follow. She touched so many lives and will be deeply missed.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 4, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Allen will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation from 10-11 a.m. Friday, May 4, at Macon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the Peterson's home after the burial at 101 Logg N Road, Franklin.
