Daniel "Dan" Yeomans, age 66, of Franklin, N.C., entered into rest Saturday, March 19, 2005.

A native of Montrose, Pa., Mr. Yeomans was the son of the late Hurbert and Anita Carlsen Yeomans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers. He was a retired electrical contractor, he formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Sarasota Youth for Christ, was a past trustee at Grace Baptist Church in Sarasota, Fl. and an active member in Victory Baptist Church in Sylva, N.C..

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janet "Jan" Yeomans of Franklin; one son, Greg Yeomans and wife, Roxanne of Sarasota, Fl.; one daughter, Kimberly Marler and husband, Doug, of Bradenton, Fl.; four sisters, Carolyn Mae Yeomans of Sarasota, Fl., June Johns of Merritt Island, Fl., Bonnie Yeomans of Sarasota, Fl., Betty Chalker of Montrose, Pa., and two granddaughters, Alexandria and Danielle both of Bradenton, Fl..

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at 5:00 p.m. in the Victory Baptist Church. The Rev. Benny Bagwell will officiate. Burial will be in the Palms Memorial Park in Sarasota, Fl..

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Victory Baptist Church Building Fund , 278 Victory Church Rd., Sylva, N.C. 28779.
