Obituary for Cynthia Catherine Potts (Watson)
Cynthia “Cindy” Catherine Watson Potts, 56, of Sylva, NC passed away Sunday December 13, 2020 at her home.
Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Watson, son; Timmy Potts, who passed in 2002 and a brother; Roger Watson
Surviving Cindy is her mother; Ruth R. Clawson, daughters; Amy McDowell and Juli-Ann Potts, grandchildren; Timothy, Cassie, Graceland, James, Julian, Daniel, Isabella and Rosa, brother; Dean and wife Michelle Watson, sisters; Beth Bolognia and husband Michael, Jennifer Adams and Amanda. Numerous nieces and nephews also.
Cindy was of the Baptist faith but during these times of Covid, she and her daughter Amy, would logon and attend online to Sunrise House of Worship. Cindy was very talented in arts, she enjoyed and was good at making jewelry and crochet. She also was a very good singer and loved to sing as well as listen to music.
Funeral services for Cindy will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, December 18, 2020 in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Harrison officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Stewart Cemetery on Yellow Mountain in Cashiers, NC
Covid protocol will be observed and face covers must be worn during the service
