Obituary for Charles Joseph Perreault

Charles "Chuck" Perreault, 73, of Franklin, NC, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2007.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Charles Perreault, Sr. and Anne Winstead Perreault. Chuck was a conductor at the Great Smoky Mountain Railway for the past eight years and was said to be the best conductor they ever had. He was a very active member of the Kiwanis Club of Franklin and a member of the Friends of the Greenway.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rosalie Ann Perreault; brother-in-law, Charles Hoefeyzers of Stoughton, Wisconsin; and several cousins.

Rosary Service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, August 6, at Macon Funeral Home. A Wake will be held from 3-7 p.m. Monday.

Memorial donations may be made to the Kiwanis Club Scholarship Fund, (In Memory of Chuck Perreault), PO Box 90, Franklin, NC 28744.
