Obituary for Charles Kenneth Kaas

Charles Kenneth Kaas, 82, of Franklin, entered into rest Sunday, June 12, 2005.

A native of Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Charles Kaas and Beatrice Langlois Kaas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Kaas. He was a US Army WWII Veteran; a self-employed upholsterer; and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of twenty-eight years, Helen Seals Kaas; two children, David Kaas and Frankie Beshears; four sisters, Lee and husband William Hallabough of Port St. Lucy, FL, Charmaine Peterson of Hobe Sound, FL, Deloris and husband Marvin Klein of Ft. Pierce, FL, and Yvonne and husband Sol Caldarozzo of Pompano Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 16, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Harold Ball and Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Iotla Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m., one hour prior to the Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Elevator Fund, 69 Iotla Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
