Obituary for Charles Robert Joachim

Charles Robert  Joachim
Charles R. Joachim, 71, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2008.
Born in South Haven, Michigan, he was the son of Olga Bitner. Charles was a member of the Michigan National Guard; he was a retired insurance executive; a professional photographer; member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Lucille Ayotte Joachim; daughter, Heidi Seifert and husband Mike (son Bret Baynes) of Franklin; son, Charles R. Joachim, II and wife Ramona (their son Tripp and daughter Paulina) of Boca Raton, FL; grandchildren Chad Kania (wife Jessie and their son and great grandson Logan) of Franklin, NC, Kiley Carter (husband Joe) of Longwood, Florida
Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Charles R. Joachim Photography in the Arts Foundation, C/O United Community Bank, 257 East Main Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
