Bonnie Louise Moore, 77, of Franklin passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Will Moore and Hattie Sanders Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Moore and a brother, Billie Moore. She was a graduate of FHS in 1950; graduate of Gaston Memorial Hospital School of Nursing where she received her RN degree and served in the U.S. Army for three years. She worked for Dr. Battle, Dr. King and Dr. Kahn and Angel Medical Center as a registered nurse, and later was a volunteer at Angel Medical Center. Bonnie was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by cousins, Joe Moore and Tex Moore both of Franklin; special friends, Eloise Bryson, Cliftney Sterling, Hope Crisp, Janice Barnes, Betty Scott and Tami McClure all of Franklin.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 22, at Bethel United Methodist Church. Rev. Al Beck and Rev. Vic Greene will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military rites conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Joe Moore, Dan Moore, Homer Bryson, Denver Bryson, Doyle Clark and Jesse Sterling.
