Charles Robert "Bob" Timberlake, 82, of Franklin, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2007.

Born in Scioto County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles Horace Timberlake and Sarah Jane Shields Timberlake. He was married to the late Mabel Ruth Eblin Timberlake who died February 14, 2006. Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII; he was a Plumber; a member of Franklin Covenant Church and had a love for writing poetry, working with his flowers, gardening and trains.

He is survived by four children, Jim Timberlake of Mt. Dora, FL, Jill Martin of Windham, NH, Jeanne Bass of Orlando, FL and Jayne Sulpizio of Ocoee, FL; one sister, Genevieve Ward and husband Elza of Vero Beach, FL; nine grandchildren, Michael Sulpizio, Michelle Porter, Cheryl Martin, Kathryn Martin, Jason Bass, Joseph Bass, Sarah Nelle Timberlake, Leigh Anne Timberlake and James Andrew Timberlake; five great grandchildren, Bethany Anne Sulpizio, Amber Rose Sulpizio, Cheyenne Sulpizio, Savanah Sulpizio and Sarah Michelle Porter; one niece, Katherine Jordan.

Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 16, at Franklin Covenant Church. Rev. John Makinson will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, November 15, at Macon Funeral Home.
