Bob Sullivan, 79, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009.

Born in Central City, KY, he was the son of the late Van Luke Sullivan and Connie Bethel Sullivan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Sullivan who passed away October 18, 2008; his step mother, Pauline Sullivan; sister, Delta Mae Sullivan; half sister, Jackie Sullivan Kopp and step brother, Irvin Carlton. Bob was former owner of Bob Sullivan Chevrolet-Oldsmobile of Franklin. He was a member of the Eloa Masonic Lodge #207 and was a building contractor.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Sullivan Ledford and husband Richard of Franklin; son, Michael Gene Sullivan and wife Kathy of Orlando, FL; step sister, Marilyn Skepnec; two half-brothers, Wayne and Larry Sullivan; half sister, Judy Sullivan Fugate; four grandchildren, Joshua Ledford, Jonathan Ledford, Jessica Ledford and Christopher Sullivan; one great granddaughter, Alexandria Sullivan and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Richard Ledford, Jonathan Ledford, Joshua Ledford, Michael Sullivan, Fred David and Scott Redoutey.
