Bob Gregory, 73, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009.

Born in Macon County he was the son of the late Pink Gregory and Martha B. Holland Gregory. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy, Ray and John and three sisters, Estelle Kiser, Tressie Hoilman and Betty Keener. Bob was a member of the Army National Guard; former owner of Macon Tire Shop; owner/broker of Four Seasons Realty and a member of Iotla Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Corn Gregory; son, Mike Gregory and wife Rita of Franklin; sister, Clara Belle Setser of Waynesville; and three grandchildren, Darian Gregory, Derik Shuler and Dalton Shuler.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, at Iotla Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Stacy Woods will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 23, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ed Gregory, Jamie Corn, Bill Carpenter, Jeff Carpenter, Derik Shuler, Dalton Shuler and Eddie Hoilman.

Memorial donations can be made to the Iotla Baptist Church, 1537 Iotla Church Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
