Betty Jo Tallent Nichols, 61, of Otto, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2008.

A native and life long resident of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Dora Jones Tallent. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a half brother, Jimmy Keener.

Surviving are her husband of forty years, Bobby Nichols; two daughters, Elizabeth Nichols and Roberta Nichols, both of Otto; three sisters, Daisy Sanders of Mountain City, GA, Cora Lee Scott of Franklin, and Barbara Mashburn of Arden, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday March 5, at Newman Chapel Baptist Church. Rev. Tom Larocca will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Scott, Tony Nichols, James Hopkins, David Nichols, Adam Hopkins and Charlie Blaine.
