Obituary for Betty Bagwell Cannon
Betty Cannon, 92, of Franklin, formerly of Fayetteville, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 1, 2023.
She was born in Easley, SC to the late Elijah and Letha Mae Bagwell on March 10, 1931.
Mrs. Cannon was of the Baptist Faith and attended of Riverbend Baptist Church. She worked for the NC School system for twenty years. She loved to garden and watch the flowers bloom in the springtime. She loved her family and her church family and will be truly missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Cannon (Anne) and Eric Cannon; one brother, Elijah Bagwell; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Cannon, and a daughter Vickie Cannon.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 15, at 11:00am at Riverbend Baptist Church. Pastor Steve Cannon will officiate.
