Bertha Lee Alfredson, 73, of Franklin, passed away, Saturday, January 23, 2010.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Herbert Cantrell and Hazel Matlock Cantrell Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Roy Cantrell and a sister, Alberta Jane Cantrell. Bertha was a member of Iotla Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Milton Alfredson; two children, Lisa Alfredson of Franklin and Dennis Alfredson of Arkansas; two sisters, Wanda Jones and Patsy Smith both of Franklin; and two grandchildren, Scott Puckett and Amelia Puckett.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Stacy Woods will officiate. Burial will be in the Snow Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 25, at Macon Funeral Home.
