Obituary for Arnold Andrew Green

Arnold Andrew Green, 60, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009.
Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Homer Lee Green and Bertha Gertrude Jones Green. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Arnold was a skilled mechanic owning operating his own machine shop. He loved playing Bluegrass music.
He is survived by two children, Steve Green and his wife Michelle of Franklin and Mike Green of Franklin; one brother, Eddie Green of Franklin; one sister, Brenda Kay of Tiger, GA; and one granddaughter, Anna Green.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Terry Scott, Bruce Fox, Lewis Ashe, Wesley Wilkes, Mitchell Wilkes and James Womack.

Memorial donations may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
