Obituary for Anita Wyatt (Davis)

Anita Davis Wyatt, 43, of Franklin, passed away Friday, December 28, 2007, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Bryson City, NC, she was the daughter of Max Clyde Davis and Inez Stevenson Davis. Anita graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in marketing and business management. She was manager of Premiere Marketing until her illness forced her to retire. Anita was a member of Cartoogechaye Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 16 years, Steve Wyatt; two sons, Nathan Arvey of Asheville, NC and Dylan Wyatt of the home; sister, Tammy McCall and husband Jim of Raleigh, NC; brother, Malcolm Davis and wife Kim of Bryson City, NC; brother-in-law, Chuck Wyatt of Waynesville, NC; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clydie and Alvin Wyatt of Waynesville, NC; seven nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles also survive.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 31, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Phillip Wyatt will officiate. Burial will be in the Lauada Cemetery, Bryson City, NC.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, December 30, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Joe Breedlove, Ron Gentry, Jesse Gibson, Tim Hubbs, George Stork, Jason Smith, Terry Cabe and Ray Wyatt.

Memorial donations may be made to the Anita D. Wyatt Memorial Scholarship Fund, C/O Bo Bryant, 235 East Palmer Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
