Obituary for Amy Louise Carpenter

Amy Louise  Carpenter
Amy Louise Carpenter, 33, of Otto passed away Friday, February 22, 2008.

A native of Macon County, Amy was a graduate of Franklin High School and received a degree in Sociology from UNCA and continued her work at the College as a Resident Life Coordinator until her illness. She was a member of Coweeta Baptist Church.

Amy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Grady and Louise Styles. She is survived by her parents, James and Margaret Styles Carpenter; her paternal grandparents, Calvin and Nora Bell Carpenter; one sister Ava Emory and her husband Andy; one brother, Cris Carpenter; niece and nephew, Abigail and Asa Emory, all of Otto; her longtime friend, Dean Holbert of Raleigh; and her beloved dog, Tsabo.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 24 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Davis Hooper and Rev. Eunice Holbert will officiate.

Private burial will be at a later date at Coweeta Baptist Church Cemetery.

Honorary attendants will be Seth Plants, Greg Bliss, Kim Shearon, Wesley Peak, Deana Wilson, and Joel Wolfe.
