Obituary for Amelia Daigle (Crossman)

Amelia “Meme” Crossman Daigle, 80 of Franklin, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2021.

Born in Greenville, ME on June 16, 1940; she was the daughter of the late Walter and Sarah Stewart Crossman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Dennis Daigle in 2016; a granddaughter, Jennifer Storer; two brothers, James Crossman Jr., and Stewart Crossman; a sister, Gloria Crossman; and a son in-law, Lloyd Storer. Amelia was a beautician and had been attending Tessentee Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jerry Harold Daigle; daughter, Cindy Storer of Franklin; son, Leonard Daigle of SC; and a brother, Gordan Crossman of Jacksonville, NC. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jamie Storer, Dennis Patrick Allen Daigle, and Jessica Daigle Jones; eleven great grandchildren, Christopher Storer, Matthew Storer, Tyler Storer, Brandon Cotton, Jonathan Jones, Jerry Jones, Ava Daigle, Emma Daigle, Alena Daigle, Logan Daigle, and Katherine Smith; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In honoring Mrs. Daigle’s wishes, there are no services planned.
