C. N. “Pearly” Munger, 85, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late James S. Munger and Nancy Jones Munger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alene Gregory Munger. Pearly was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church; service station owner; enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, golfing and baseball.

He is survived by three sons, Ronnie Munger of Texas, Keith Munger of Savannah, GA and Tony Munger and wife Brenda of Franklin; two grandchildren, Jennifer Munger and Cody Munger and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Alton Dendy will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Butch Deal, Jackie Gregory, Harold Huscusson, Glenn Holland, Mike Dills and Landy Holland.
