Obituary for Dean Aaron Buchanan

Dean Aaron  Buchanan
Dean Aaron Buchanan, 55, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018.

Born in Burnsville, NC, he was the son of Fannie Byrd Buchanan and the late Aaron R. Buchanan. Dean was a contractor, sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing and was a very hard worker and always willing to help anyone.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by brothers and sisters, Deborah Bryson (David Cukras) of Sylva, Fern Murphy (Jimmie), Duke Buchanan and Angel Buchanan all of Franklin; half-sister, Emily Campbell; half-brothers, Mike Buchanan, Alan Buchanan and Johnnie Buchanan and three nieces, Kristen Bryson, Ashlynn Buchanan and Vanessa Murphy.

Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Rick Potts will officiate.

Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Byrd Cemetery, Poplar Creek, NC officiated by Rev. Tommy Carver.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 17th prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
