Condolence: Dear Judy, Sissy and Girls,
I was so sorry to hear about Mark yesterday and called Aunt Carolyn to tell her. She told me how much she enjoyed her monthly conversations with Mark and would miss him. Also, she said the news gave her chills but she knew how sick he was and that it is a blessing that he is no longer suffering.
Many memories of growing up next door to Mark have come to mind today. I have a vivid memory of him cutting through our yard in the mornings before school in a red FHS jacket to go to Uncle Mark's barn to milk his cow. Also, I remember football games with the Killian "boys" between our yard and theirs in the afternoons. I also saw him buck dance at the Folk Festival once and remember how good he was. My favorite memory, though, is of a dressed-up Mark in a freshly-ironed pink shirt, looking good, going out for the night when he was in high school.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Martha
