Efren Barrera, 44 of Franklin, NC and formerly of Plant City, FL, passed away October 19, 2017.

Born in Mexico, he was the son of Santos and Hortencia Torres Barrera.

He is survived by his parents; children, Laurette and Efren Barrera; siblings, Santos, Cesar (Sylvia), Claudia, and Noe (Anna) Barrera.

The family is still planning the funeral service for Efren.

Macon Funeral Home was in charge of the local arrangements.
