Obituary for Jimmy Crisp

Jimmy  Crisp
Jimmy Crisp, 47, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of Gene and Hope Smith Crisp. Jimmy was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Crisp. He worked as an engineer for Franklin Tubular; enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and ginseng hunting. Jimmy was a strong man of faith and a devoted husband and father.

In addition to his parents, Gene and Hope Crisp, he is survived by his wife of 17 years, Misty Moses Crisp; daughter, Shannon Shuler and husband Austin; son, Conner Crisp; sister, Joy Pendergrass and husband Jeff; nephew, Tyler Pendergrass and brother-in-law, Chad Moses.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the Windy Gap Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Gates, Joe Farmer, Ken Crunkleton, Tyler Pendergrass, Pat Hodgins and John Boucher.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
