Gladys Lee Beck Dills, 84, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017.

Born in Jackson Co, NC, she was the daughter of the late Ovied and Alice Greene Beck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Owen Dills who died April 22, 2017 and her sister and brother-in law, Margie and Rex Frizzell. Gladys was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed gardening, loved her home and her dog, B.G.

She is survived by a goddaughter, Dana “Dee Dee” Nalband and husband Bruce of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Bob Beck and wife Ruth of Sylva, NC; close-friend, Sandra Langley of Loganville, GA and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 19th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Albert Grey will officiate. Burial will be in the Old Savannah Cemetery, Sylva, NC.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
