Condolence: We were so devastated by this news. We remember Carrie so well. Even though she was a teenager when we knew her, she had such a developed sense of right and wrong. She was someone that could be trusted and if she said she was going to do something, she did it. What a wonderful young woman. Our deepest sympathy to you. She will be missed. Greg, Jane, Derek and Sarah Mayo

Condolence From: Teri Lynn \"YOUR hoochie\"
Condolence: Carrie Ann... I don't even know where to begin. I know why God took you from us though, he needed an angel with the most beautiful smile. That has to be it. Words cannot begin to explain how much i miss you..I have been thanking God everyday that the last words i said to you were, "I love you!" That makes me cry a little less everyday hoping that you knew how much of a difference you made in my life. I'll ALWAYS be YOUR hoochie no matter what. Ok? Don't cause too much chaos up there..keep everything under control until I get there. Guess what? I have ate macaroni & cheese everyday since you got your wings..it helps me remember how you would cook it for me everytime I was feeling bad. I love you with everything I have Carrie..and ALWAYS will. I LOVE YOU! P.s- Save me a spot up there :)

Condolence: Rick, Penny and Cori I don't have the right words to say to you at this most difficult time. My heart aches for the family, having to face losing someone you love so much. Remember we love you, and we will keep you in our prayers now and in the days ahead. Carrie was such a beautiful girl and God needed another angel with a beautiful smile and a great personality. I found picture's of the girls at one of Chelsie's birthday party's, three little girls that have grown into little lady's. Little girls with their own little attitude, but to the good. Penny you have always been such a great friend to all our family. Thank you for being their and all the things you have done for us during our difficult times. if any of you need anything, you know where to find us. WE LOVE YOU.

Condolence From: John and Linda Owen
Condolence: Our deepest condolences and prayers are with you at this time. Though you may not know us, my husband took the Senior Prom pictures for the 'group' in 2007. Our nephew, Ben, dated Carrie for a while, so Carrie was a lovely part of several family gatherings. Even when they went their separate ways, we would frequent the Creamery a lot, and were always happy to see Carrie and talk with her a while. She treated us like family! She had such strong moral and spiritual values, which is a rarity these days. Though I can't imagine any words being very comforting at these times, I hope you will find some peace in knowing how many people Carrie blessed! We're just two of many! And may the Lord be a very real and present help during this time of need and hurt. You are in our prayers, John and Linda Owen

Condolence From: Buddy Huckabee
Condolence: The Sellers Family, I have had the privilage of teaching both your daughters. I had Carrie for 4 years in the band. She was always so upbeat and always had ways of making people laugh. There were many days when I would be stressed to the max and she would always make me smile. She was a great trumpet player, citizen, and was always fun to be around. She was a student that I could always count on. Losing any of my present or past students is like losing one of my own! I will miss her greatly and hope to see her one day when I get the chance to go through the pearly gates! --- Heaven received an angel!---

Condolence From: Dawne Coward
Condolence: You don't know me, but my son was the first, first responder on scene at your daughter's accident. He worked with her for a little while until the EMTs arrived to take over. My son is only 23-years-old, and when he came back home at 3:30 that morning, he couldn't go back to sleep because he was so upset. He said, "Mamma -- I can't sleep because I keep thinking about that poor girl and wondering what might have been going through her mind with all those people around her and then wondering if she was scared on the helicopter. All I knew to do was pray for her and her family, and I did that right there in the middle of the 4-lane, and I will keep doing that. It still really gets to me, though, because when I see someone so badly injured I just want to do everything I can to help them and sometimes all I can do is not enough." I reminded him that I am a mother, and that I know in my heart this child's mother would be very thankful to know that a Christian person worked with her daughter and prayed for her the entire time because mother's just have a way of knowing these things." Please know that, even though we don't know you and you don't know us, all the hearts in our family are broken for you and your family. You are all in our prayers as you walk through this very difficult valley. We pray that God will fill the void in your hearts with his undying love! Dawne Coward (and the entire Coward family)

Each of those girls will always hold a special place in my heart. Coach Keener

Condolence From: Lewis and Susan Jones, Danielle and Josh Coleman
Condolence: We are so very sorry for your loss. We remember the sweet girls you always brought with you to the ball fields, and our son Josh graduated with Carrie. I will not pretend to even understand the depth of your grief because we have not lost a child or sister, but please know that you are in our thoughts, in our prayers, and in our hearts. If you need anything please call anytime of the day or night. As your friends, I wish we had the right words to help take away your pain, but we don't. All we know is God must have really needed a special, loving, beautiful angel for reasons unknown. Please find comfort and peace knowing that she is wrapped in the loving arms of God at this time and that she is being well loved. She is playing with another band now, a band of angels, and I can only imagine the beautiful music! She is in heaven now, and she is seeing the most incredibly wonderful places and things. We can only imagine. Here on earth, it is hard to let go of someone so young, sweet and beautiful, but may God soon give you peace. May God bless you all...

Condolence From: Michael and Alisha Woodard
Condolence: Rick, Penny and Cori, We had the special privilege of knowing Carrie through the years as she grew up with Haley. Michael coached her in basketball and she was always such a delight to watch and her infectious smile always made us laugh. Over the years we lost touch as often happens when children grow up and go their way, but we will never forget the sweet sweet girl and pray for your hearts to find the strength to make it through this horrible and difficult time. She will always be with you in your hearts and in your memories and one day you will see her again. Until that day, know that many are praying for you and lifting you up and while that in now way replaces your loss, it will get you through it. God Bless you all. Michael and Alisha Woodard

Condolence From: Sherri Houston
Condolence: Sellers family-My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I did not know Carrie and I do not personally know Cori. However, I work at FHS and have had the unique opportunity to get to know Cori through her amazing network of friends here at school. If you truly want to know someone, find out what their friends think of them. I have been overwhelmed at the kind words that have been spoken about Carrie and Cori. My life has been blessed by the testimony of these two girls already. Cori doesn't know me, but I have a precious note on my wall which was written by her for me through FCA. What a blessing it has been to me. I hope now to return the favor by lifting your family up in prayer on a daily basis as you mourn the loss of your daughter and sister. May the God of peace comfort your hearts. May you find that He is faithful and that His mercies are new in the days and weeks to come. God bless you all.

Condolence From: Jillian Barrett View
Condolence: Sellers Family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beautiful daughter. Carrie was such an amazing young woman. We had so many great years of softball together and I will never forget all of the fun memories with her. She had this gift for bringing smiles to everyones faces. She was always there when someone needed a shoulder to cry on and she always knew the right things to say to cheer you up. I remember being soooo scared when we first started classes at WCU. The first day of classes I ran into Carrie in the student center. I told her how nervous I was and so she decided that we should spend the next couple weeks eating breakfast together so that we could get use to our new environment together. It was the little things like that, that made Carrie such a wonderful person. I've been sooo blessed to know Carrie and I will miss her dearly. My thoughts and Prayers are with you all and if there is anything at all I can do please don't hesitate to let me know!

Condolence From: Kari Mills
Condolence: I was fortunate enough to call Carrie Sellers a friend. The short time that I knew Carrie was enough for me to know that Carrie was a truly genuine person! Her love for life and goodwill toward people is an absolute inspiration! Carrie was definitely wise beyond her years. The way she carried herself and her affairs with other people is a testament of her love and respect for people. Although Carrie is no longer with us, her spirit will live on through the lives that she touched! I can only hope that I can conduct myself in such a manner that I am on good terms with as many people as Carrie was. Her hugs, huge smile, and love for life did not go unnoticed! Thanks for keeping me company at softball games and all the good laughs! You are loved and missed, kid!

Condolence: I am definitely going to miss you Carrie. You were always there for me no matter what and I knew I could always count on you to have my back. I am going to miss all the good times we had together with the softball team and all the girls and at TGI Fridays and Rachel spilling her tea on your phone. I love you girl and you will always be in my heart.
