Obituary for Margaret Martin (McRae)

Margaret McRae Martin, 91, passed away July 24, 2017. She was born February 18, 1926 in Tampa, Florida to the late Thomas and Maude (Jones) McRae. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Willie .Margaret was a lifelong resident of Tampa and attended Belmont Baptist Church for 70 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends and in the mountains. At 91 years old, she was still very active.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Elaine Tillman and her husband Ken of Franklin, NC; and Janice Fewell and her husband Robert of Springhill, Florida; son, Russell Martin and his wife Patty of Tampa, Florida; brother, TD McRae and his wife Dorothy of Lutz, Florida; grandchildren, Kelli, Kasey, Kourtney, Amber, Summer and Jacob; and great grandchildren, Dustin, Josie, Kagan, Copelin, Madison, Lilly, Axel, Wake, Hudson and Jayla.

There will be a visitation on Monday, July 31, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Belmont Baptist Church.
