Obituary for Ellen Mae Allison (Goldner)

Ellen Mae Allison, 92, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017.

Born in Decatur, IN, she was the daughter of the late Truman Goldner and Naomi Bracht Goldner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Howard M. Allison. After retiring, Ellen enjoyed traveling with her husband Howard. She enjoyed crafts, cooking and taking walks.

She is survived by two children, Carole Langford and husband Larry of Franklin and Steven Allison and wife Marilyn of Raleigh, NC; two grandchildren, Amy Moreau and husband David of Raleigh and Blaine Langford of Eustis, FL; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

No Services will be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Hospice House Foundation of WNC, PO Box 815, Franklin, NC 28744.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
