Obituary for Bobby Frank Ammons

Bobby Frank  Ammons
Bobby Frank Ammons, 57, of Franklin, died unexpectedly on Friday, August 2, 2013.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Frank and Edith Brown Ammons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Janet Ammons. He was a Supervisor for Norton Creek Farms and was a member of Clarks Chapel United Methodist Church. Bobby enjoyed his work and also enjoyed fishing, but more than anything he loved spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and poppy.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carolyn Faust Ammons; daughter, Candy Lowe and husband Philip of Franklin; brother, James Ammons and wife Kathy of Franklin and three grandchildren, Madison, Hunter and Jennalee.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 5, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Roy Lowe and Rev. Philip Lowe will officiate. Burial will be in the Clarks Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 4, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Stanley, Ryan McHan, Ronnie Vanhook, Clyde McCall, Jeff Stamey, Cody Faust, John Faust and Mark Bell.
